1. Arbitrica
Arbitrica searches hotel prices across 200 countries simultaneously, both before and after you book. The Chrome extension detects your booking automatically. If a cheaper rate appears on a refundable room — whether through geographic arbitrage or a temporal drop — Arbitrica confirms the new reservation, cancels the original, and emails you the refund confirmation. The user does nothing. Free for the first 10,000 users; $20/month plus 10% of savings after that.
Best for: anyone who books international hotels and wants the largest savings with the least effort.
Limitation: works on cash bookings, not award redemptions. For award travel use Seats.aero or Roame.
2. Pruvo
Pruvo is a post-booking tracker. You forward your booking confirmation by email, Pruvo parses the property and dates, and checks the price on the same booking platform every few hours. When it finds a drop, you cancel and rebook manually. The product has been around since 2017 and the email-based onboarding is genuinely easy.
Limitation: single country, no geographic search. Manual rebooking only. Pruvo also misses chain-direct rates and member discounts.
3. RoomHawk
RoomHawk tracks 2 million+ hotel rooms for post-booking price drops, sends clean email alerts, and charges a percentage of confirmed savings. The interface is one of the better ones in the category and the company has a long-running track record. Most user-reported savings cluster in the $50-$300 range per qualifying booking.
Limitation: single country, no pre-checkout comparison, manual rebooking required. RoomHawk also lacks coverage on chain direct sites for several major brands.

4. RatePunk
RatePunk is a browser extension focused entirely on pre-checkout comparison. When you reach a hotel listing on Booking.com, Expedia, or Hotels.com, RatePunk overlays the same room's price on the other platforms. The extension is free and the team adds new OTAs frequently. For users who only want to know "is there a cheaper version of this room on another OTA right now," RatePunk is the cleanest experience.
Limitation: platform comparison only. Platform-vs-platform spreads typically run 3-8%; geographic spreads run 15-40%. RatePunk does not see the larger source of variation. It also does not monitor after booking.
5. Repriced
Repriced is one of the few post-booking trackers that handles rebooking automatically. Once you forward your confirmation, Repriced monitors the price and — if a drop appears — performs the cancellation and re-reservation without involving you. The model resembles Arbitrica's auto-rebook flow at a smaller geographic scale. Repriced takes 25% of confirmed savings.
Limitation: 25% performance fee is on the higher end. Country-IP coverage is limited (not 200 like Arbitrica), so geographic spreads are mostly missed.
6. OneAir
OneAir is a travel subscription that bundles hotel price tracking with flight deal alerts, airport lounge passes, and other perks. The hotel component watches for post-booking price drops and emails users when one appears. Subscription is $59.99/year.
Limitation: hotel tracking is one feature among many; the depth is not at the level of single-purpose trackers. No geographic search. Manual rebooking required.
7. Hotel Ninja
Hotel Ninja focuses on simplicity. The free tier lets you track unlimited bookings with email alerts when prices drop. The product has limited marketing presence but solid uptime and a small loyal user base.
Limitation: single country. No pre-checkout search. Manual rebooking. The free model means no proactive monitoring outside of post-booking.
8. Directo
Directo compares hotel direct-booking sites against the OTA price, looking for cases where booking through the chain's own website is cheaper than going through Booking.com or Expedia. For loyalty-program members this is sometimes the case (member rates, free breakfast, late checkout) and Directo surfaces the difference.
Limitation: narrow focus on direct-vs-OTA comparison. No post-booking monitoring. No geographic search. The savings ceiling is the direct-vs-OTA delta, which is usually 5-10% on chains.

Do I need to keep my Chrome extension on for Arbitrica to work?
The extension only needs to be installed and signed in. The post-booking monitoring happens on Arbitrica's servers, not in your browser. The extension itself is needed for the pre-checkout search at the moment of booking.
What if the cheaper rate is in a different currency?
Arbitrica normalizes all rates to your home currency using the live mid-market exchange rate (we use Wise's rate as the benchmark). The cheaper rate is the cheaper rate after FX conversion, not before. Currency arbitrage is part of the larger geographic spread.
How does Arbitrica handle hotel chains like Marriott and Hilton?

Is there a hotel price tracker that handles award (points/miles) redemptions?
Award redemptions follow different inventory and pricing rules that the standard scraping infrastructure does not see. Seats.aero and Roame are purpose-built for award travel; Arbitrica and the other tools listed here are for cash bookings. If you book both, you will probably want both.
What is the difference between a hotel price tracker and Hopper?
